We visited Anejo on a Sunday afternoon during happy hour, and although it was quite busy both inside and out on the patio, we were lucky enough to get a table without a long wait, even without a reservation. The atmosphere was lively but welcoming, and our server, Abraham, was absolutely amazing! He was warm, professional, and attentive. He really took great care of us and made the whole experience even better :) One of the highlights was definitely the fresh guacamole! If you order it, they bring all the ingredients to your table and make it right in front of you. You can even choose how smooth or chunky you want it, which adds such a fun and personalized touch. It’s not just about the flavor (which was incredible), but also about the experience of seeing it made fresh right there at the table. We ordered some Mexican dishes, tacos, quesadillas, and a round of margaritas and tequila. Everything was full of flavor and came out hot and satisfying. It was the perfect way to enjoy a weekend afternoon, great food, great drinks, and a team that really makes you feel welcome. Highly recommend!

Probably my favourite Mexican restaurant in the city! Highly recommend the salsa tasting for sharing. Great way to taste all the flavours and comes with unlimited chips! I’ve tried all the different tacos and none of them disappoint but my personal favourite is the carnitas tacos!

The staff here are amazing! Fresh table side guacamole! Is so fresh and delicious. Seriously order it! The tacos we had were delicious. Fish, Pork and Beef . We had recently two different birthday gatherings and our wait staff really accommodated both events and made for an excellent family gathering of each event.

Overall great Mexican spot, although not very authentic food. But tasted great. Can highly recommend the home made guacamole. Service super friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is high energy and lively

Had a lovely girls’ lunch here We really enjoyed the tableside guacamole — it was super flavorful and fun to watch them make it fresh right in front of us. The lunch special came with two tacos and a small portion of chips — just the right amount. Inside, there’s an entire wall of wine and a super extensive drink menu! With the warm weather, everyone was sitting outside — it’s pet-friendly too, which we loved.

Delicious Mexican cuisine and a very lovely ambiance in the heart of downtown Calgary. The cocktails and shots were awesome! The Molcajete was incredible! Highly recommended!

High-end Mexican, meets every type of tequila you could want. I've been here a number of time. The taco's are awesome. I could gain 50pounds eating the Pork and fish taco's Atmosphere reminds me of walking into a nice Mexican place. No booths, but lots of seating, great bar, Carlos, (Bartender) is awesome and knowledgeable. Ideally we are all looking for something unique, calm and enjoyable. ANEJO Delivers a ton of knowledge, types of Tequila and authentic food, without going south of the border. Perfect! If I wanted to have a great date night, this is the place!

Loving tacos, delicious shrimps, a glass of beer and cheerful people around you is all you need. Mexican food, friendly staff and the music got me chill vibes!! Gave my first try to Mexican food here and now i am in love with it
